When I was practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China, my patients had easy access to both modern and traditional medicine. TCM was seen not as “alternative medicine” but rather a proven method to treat many health problems. After living in the US for the past few years, I can see that although TCM is growing in this country, it is still a mystery to many people. I hope that through my work at Willow Acupuncture I can not only treat my patients effectively but also promote TCM so that more people can understand areas of health care where TCM can be beneficial.
The goal of my clinic is of course to treat my patients’ medical problems safely and effectively. But even more than that, I want to help my patients live healthier lifestyles so they avoid sickness altogether. If my patients tell me that they feel better after a treatment then I will feel a good deal of satisfaction; however, if my patients follow my advice and no longer need to come to my clinic then I have achieved my goal.
Alliance with Catskill Valley Chiropractic: A Center for Wellness
At Catskill Valley Chiropractic: A Center for Wellness, I have found a group of like-minded partners in natural and holistic medicine. The human body is extremely complex, and no single treatment method can solve all health problems. No single treatment method is perfect, whether it is modern medicine or traditional medicine. However, by collaborating with a group of people who are interested in holistic medicine, we can better solve health problems and move closer to a perfect approach.
