Hui-Hsin Liu, L.Ac

After several years of graduate research in Buddhism in Japan and Taiwan, Ms. Liu went to Tianjin, China to study medicine at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There she completed both a medical degree in internal medicine and a master’s degree in ophthalmology. During that period, she frequently returned to Japan to study Japanese-style acupuncture under a famous Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ophthalmologist in Osaka. Ms. Liu also studied under several well-known TCM internists in Tianjin. 

Ms. Liu practiced for nine years at a TCM clinic in Tianjin before moving to the United States, specializing in internal medicine, gynecology, and ophthalmology. She is a NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist in New York and New Jersey. Ms. Liu is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
